foodie any suggestions for making myself a quick/lunch dinner? i go to work so I would like to prepare a quickie for lunch and if i hit the gym during the week, i want to make dinner too as i do not fancy eating too much outside.
my most common quick meal would be a wholemeal sandwich, stuffed with greens, egg and meat. meat can be just simple canned tuna in water/boiled chicken breast meat. it is kind of bland, so add cheese and melt it in microwave, sprinkle with black pepper, or tabasco sauce to taste better.
for me, i prepare everything using microwave to save time.
to keep yourself full, pls add the meat filling generously, protein will fill u up for a longer period of time.
some of the quick meals i prepare which i tot miht interest you:

just start of simple, and play around with the sandwich, use turkey ham/bacon, cottage cheese, pineapple slices etc...
and if you take protein shake, you can incorporate that into your tea break as well...
thanks foodie.
yes i have saw your post on tuna, with chickpeas and bacon bits. i think i would want to try that. :)
