Ayam Penyat Ria with an extra crunch
A stall that specialises in what else... Ayam Penyat lor. Since Ayam penyat is smashed chicken, and ayam is chicken, so i supposed penyat means smashED? This dish originates from Indonesia, but why must it be smashed before serving... i don't know!
Tick your choices and pay $$$, there are some items which I have no idea what they are. I asked the staff but they can't really speak English, so i randomly picked 1 soupy dish.
The Ayam Penyat is very crunchy... but very dry too... crumbs are also added give it an xtra crunch. What i like best about this is their chilli... it has a very exquisite taste. As you can see Kangkong is also served alongside.
and this is the random dish.... Beef Ball soup...There is not much beefball, but the soup is super duper oily la... omg. I don't dare to drink it. It seems as though they add the oil from all the frying of the ayam into this soup... where got soup so oily one???
You can eat the above at:

Hokkaido Fair @ Isetan Orchard
And they got many types of scallops. The original taste one is still the best. There are some variants such as grilled with cheese etc, but it is so pricey la...
Anchovies and Furikake to go along with your rice... I seldom eat rice unless its sushi... so i dun need them. =)
"Korokke" or Croquette is a popular french food that was introduced to Japan, and ever since then, many creative and interesting croquettes has been made by the Japanese. It was so popular in Japan that a song was made about it.
“korokke is an everyday dish, we eat korokke today and tomorrow. are we gonna eat korokke all year around?”.
I wanted to buy the Shrimp with Cream Korokke, I just want to get one, but the lady say they already packed in two of the same kind... but why eat the same thing twice??? I dun like this idea, so i never get to try it, but it certainly looks good. There are also fried meat filling and many types la..i cant rmb!
Last year I had the Dango! It is nicer than the ones in Ajiteh. This year there are many choices to choose from, and there are also mochi...
Hokkaido Curry Bun... Pretty Ex for a bun filled with curry... normally Sun Moulin sells for $1 +... Bread talk one got egg some more!
My favourite! Manju in the making... Manju is sort of like a pancake with filling, but ain't exactly a pancake also lar... taste different leh... The manju here made on the spot is somuch nicer than those I had from Hongkong previously...
and these are my eatsss... other than the samplesss... :)
The Manjus are my favourite! I prefer the cream over the red bean ones... The red bean ones will be better is only they are chunkier.
Sushi! These are not from the Hokkaido Fair, but from Isentan itself... The sushis from Isetan is more expensive (almost double the price) as compared to those takeaway outlets in supermarket... but their sushi is better, hmm... maybe better than sakae sushi? We all know sakae sucks.
and not forgetting...desserts made by my dearest
I love Rumballs, esp those from Hans. I love peanut butter, esp Adams. So my dearest combines the two into Peanut Butter Rum Ball! Oh gosh... it melts in your mouth... The interior is crispy and has peanut butter, coated with chocolate and sprinkled with either chocolate rice, cinnamon powder or peanut brittles.
I just had one first thing I woke up, then went for a 5k run! hehe

Sakae Sushi @ Wheelock
Probably I am just being paranoid...or maybe im not... maybe you guys think likewise... i feel that the Sushi and the rest of the dishes taste better at the Wheelock outlet than other outlets... Some other outlets, their sushi were kinda warm, some also don't serve all the dishes. Anyway heres what i ate! :) oh ya... everything was snapped using my v3xx... and it kinda suck in dim lights... so the pictures doesn't look as appetizing.
Tamago Nigiri
Spicy Salmon and Unagi Temaki
Cha Soba
Chicken Miso NabeThe miso paste all sinks to the bottom so remember to stir it thoroughly every now and then. They should add more fishcake in the miso soup...
Soft Shell Crab Crepe Premium MakiSoft Shell Crab encased in Tau Pok Skin and omelette skin, with mayonaise and cucumber within. I like the Tau Pok and the Omelette... softshell crap was just being extra...
Its just gyoza... nothing spectacuar about it.
Fried TofuWhenever i go to Jap restaurant, Tofu is a must also. soooo mouth watering and smooth...
and many other sushi which did not get their chance to be featured due to my hungry tummy, chomping them down before they can get their photoshoot.

Total Damage for the dinner.... Everything was wiped out clean... *Burpz*

Ajiteh @ Taka
Ajiteh serves very nice japanese desserts. No complains about their desserts, really. Recently went there again and ordered Azuki Matcha Shake (Red Bean Green Tea Shake), but was pretty dissapointed with it. The Red beans was really stingy, the shake was too diluted. Bad Choice! but nevermind....bcos next came something called dango which saves the day!
Heres Dango!
