Ministry of Food @ Marina Square

Hot Tea is a must for me when i'm eating Japanese food.

Appetiser - Avocado Salad - I like that bowl of wasabi mayonaise at the right corner. It adds a little tinge of spiciness in the sweetness of the mayo. The almond flakes gives a very nutty taste.

Main - I forgot what is this called! But I only know that the Fried Katsu is soooooo delicious. The meat is tender and juicy smack right in the center of the layer of crispy thingy, nicer than the katsu at Sushi Tei. The rest of the dishes are also nice la, everything are nice!

Dessert - Matcha Ice Cream with Fried Sweet Potato and Yam and Azuki beans

I always love desserts that are a mix of hot and cold! They are simply fanastic! The Yam and Sweet potatoes are fried with a thin layer of crisp with the interior still piping hot. They actually have a "directions" on how to eat the dessert for best "effect". First you use your spoon and scoop a little bit of the sweet potato, then some of the azuki beans, then finally the ice cream.

oohhhmmppp..........LOVE!

Azabu Sabo (Black Sesame)

After Miss Clarity, Ice Cream from Azabu Sabo was next. Black Sesame has many health benefits, but thats no the reason why i eat this ice cream... (anyway i was not the one who ate it... my gf ate most of it...=P). Cos im sure this cup of ice cream is loaded with a lot of sugar... bad bad stuffs... but glad its a small cup... always dislike things in large quantity.

Black sesame seeds are good for the kidney and liver, and are a good source of calcium. It also have high amounts of protein, iron, magnesium and are also a good source of essential fatty acids (EFA).

Verdict: Its nice... once a blue moon indulgence is alright!

After that, took a walk to Raffles Hotel and saw something interesting! hohoho... will post up soon! :)
