Hey,
1)Wu Fen Pu is a must go. Cheap shopping. Trendy for guys and girls. Spend @ least a whole day there (if you like shopping la). Then go to the Night mkt near there for dinner. Nice food.
2)Shilin Night Mkt is the best. The rest of them are crap. Really. =P
Dont go to HuaXi. It's really touristy. Not many locals.
3)Go to Taipei 101. After that, walk to New York New York and eat Cold Stone Creamery. It's icecream but I swear u wont regret.
4)The Beitou spring is damn shiok but quite ex so can go and chill.
5)Must go Dan shui (loads to eat) and Yu Ren Ma Tou (Go during sunset. Damn nice.)
6)Dont go Taipei Underground shopping centre. All aunties' stuff.
7)Taiwan's shopping centres stuff are all DAMN EX. Worse than Spore so no point.
8)XMD is just a place to see and be seen. Things are quite ex too. You should just shop more @ WFP la. Go to XMD just to experience what the teens there do.
9)Must ask ur gf to go to Watsons there to buy makeup. It's makeup haven there..
Enjoy the trip and be prepared for the Taiwanese girls' "teh-ness". Hah.. =P

Think it is too late...
please remember to bring enough Taiwan dollars...
They dun accept credit cards and during the weekends it is impossible to change Singapore Currency as they dun accept it all....
Mostly USD or Jap Yen...
and the only place that can change money is at the banks but they dun open during weekends!!!!
But it is a very fun place.
thks for the tips... thou its a bit too late n im back...hehe.. but i did have fun.... took 500 + pictures and i will blog about it for the next few weeks...
-jaime: wu fen pu wasnt tt fantastic as before i guess, the prices there are quite steep now, and the people there kinda rude... still prefer shih lin and xmd
-mei: i like dan shui la... lots of samples to try, so no need to eat too much of one kind, but still i realli ate alot there... threw away alot of food tts not nice too, quite wasteful me... heh.
and i went to those ulu ulu places and discover a few fantastic shops tt sells great food... show u the pics soon! :)
