Whine - Overworked, Undernourishment

Just got home an hour ago which is 9pm. Started off the day great with a 21km run followed by some static exercises.

Reached work at 840am (late for 10min), and meeting starts at 9am and lasted all the way until 130pm. Average meeting is usually 3 hours, with a variance of 2 hours.. and I am seriously not used to sitting down non-stop for so long... and hence I was recently diagnose with something by the Doctor caused by sitting for too long, and the medical bill came to a hefty $90. (It is not deadly, no worries... ).

Meeting ends and it was a quick fix for lunch with my boss 1 for 30min, and we quickly went back to office. Did some work, and before i can get myself a glass of cold Redoxon Vit C drink, Boss 2 who just recently came back from China asked me in to talk about his new project in China. My next meeting was at 3.30pm. When it was 3.45pm, Boss 3 went to Boss 2 office to ask me to go for his meeting as soon as I am done. 4pm, I went to Boss 3's meeting. The meeting lasted until 8pm. I stand for most of the time during the meeting due to whatever I was diagnosed. I was so hungry, so dinner for me was sinful and evil. My run in the morning was a waste. Dinner was gummi bears, sandwich, coffee and biscuits.

I really dislike this kind of lifestyle. I have adjusted my exercise routines to mornings before work. But now, my meal plans are all screwed! I have planned to stock up the fridge in the pantry with HL Milk, at least i can make some good protein shake for dinner next time as contigency!

Good nite

How about stocking up on protein bars or high energy cereal bars so you can eat them on the fly? Rather than gummi bears & biscuits which like you'd say, are empty calories.

gummi was just my tea time snack, which i have a a couple to satisfy some sweet cravings. biscuits was what was found in the pantry. i will stock up all these stuffs too!

welcome to the real world FG! sounds like the organisation you joined quite gahmen like; meetings after meetings after meetings. You live for meetings don't you?!

Hah, the other thing to note about being on your bum all day is that you'll notice the growth of what we call a 'spare tyre' which is a chronic case if not addressed.

Have more fibre in your diet loh! heh. bring salads to the office. snack on them like the ladies.

LM - hahha... meetings and meetings! well... i cannot complain much also, bcos my job afterall is to meet and meet and talk and talk... talking is my work.

and being on my bum all day, i tend to stand up whenever i can... lol... in case my diagnosis gets worse! but gd ting is now its better. :)

salad? i dun really like salad bcos i will still feel hungry just by eating veg, i need quality meat!
fibres comes from fruits which i eat aplenty!

on one hand those ladies eat salad, but on the other, i see them eating cakes and pastries and complain about why they are still gaining weight! haha... hilarious.... :P
