鸡蛋糕 (Steamed Egg Cake)

鸡蛋糕 (Steamed Egg Cake)
My childhood comfort food and all my fond memories when i was still young... It had been yearsss... 9 years 10 years...? since i last ate it... almost totally forgot about this cake until recently when i was passing by a traditional confectionary. Only then did i realised how much i missed those old school cake and pastries.

What i like best about Steamed Egg Cake is that its so soft and the eggy-taste! Furthermore its steamed, meaning no butter used... so basically its just eggs and flour and sugar! Its a healthier choice compared to other cakes but those flour and sugar are just empty calories... But well... its comfort food for me :)

oh nos... i just realised i forgot to reply to anonymous since NOV 07.

Anyway, ever since I had the steam egg cake, I realised that actually a lot of small neighbourhood bakeries have them as well.

I got mine from Blk 29 Bendemeer Rd if my memory nv fails me.
