Boys Nite Out @ Sushi Tei Paragon

Finally met up with them after soooo long... cos all of us are scattered everywhere... working ones, NUS, NTU, SMU and one more MIA in Aust... keke.

And nothing beats good companions and good food!

Cha Soba with Chicken Katsu - Ordered by someone working in credit suisse leh (keke)... or is it cresit swiss? or suises? dunno la...
The cold noodles glisters with a nice green, and looks so yummy hor? The chicken katsu is not in the above picture... because these pictures are posted in a chronological order! and the Katsu actually came much later...

Curry Katsu Udon - Ordered by me... i was craving for some Jap curry! The jap curry in sushi tei has a sweet taste to it... not too viscous which will make u sick after eating a few mouthful... and the curry is rich in flavor! Oh ya.. and the udon is very chewy...

I think this is Chicken Katsu Don... too much flash... ugly picture~

Salmon Sushi - all i remember what that is was yummy, i cannot remember the proper name...
I remember this, its Golden Roll! and it costs $13! It has a large prawn wrapped within the rice, and topped with a slice of mango... it looks damn nice on the menu but it turns out ok only, the previous one which I ate at Vivocity, with prawn and cheese...

This mediocre looking Garlic Fried Rice ordered by our SMU student taste much better than how it looks! I stole a spoonful because i though it was quite interesting to try something unconventional. Surprisingly, it taste quite alike to sushi actually, probably because of the strong hint of vinegar... I kind of like this... + I remember this cost less than $10 only!

Some uninteresting Don...

and this is the chicken Katsu, no, Its Pork Katsu for the Cha Soba... finally it arrived... the cold noodles must have already turned to warm noodles... It looks so well-fried la... the exterior fried to a nice golden brown, and the interior still looks juicy... I want to try this next time!

and finally, Curry Katsu Don... very similar to what I ate... just that this is rice instead of udon, ordered by NUS student aka Bruce Lee...

A very old school looking stall

Taken at some ulu Ang Mo Kio Hawker Centre during one of my eat-snake lunch break. I find it quite interesting leh...

Don't you think the stall looks like it is back in the 80s? They sell only 6 types of desserts, and are priced at 90,100,110 and 120 cents... and a C for hygiene! haha

Kebab Station @ East Coast Park

Went cycling at East Coast Park over the weekends... and the plan was to cycle to Chin Mei Chin for kopi and toast! Went there a few times, and they served one of the best toast! But sadly, when I reached there, the place was closed! =( No more kaya roti and kopi-O for me... so we are determined to eat something good in the vicinity of ECP... so we had Turkish Food~

Kebab Station - but they offer much much more than just kebabs!

Their menu offers a wide range of authentic Turkish food... and most of the time, the names on the menu is too vague, so I have to ask them to describe to me some of the dishes... loL.

Gravy Kofte Beef @ $12

Pieces of warm Pita bread at the sides, to be dip into some gravy with cream cheese and some tasty red sauce, accompanied by four pieces of beef patty.

The sauce is very rich and creamy, and it is heavenly eaten with the warm Pita bread. Try sandwiching a Beef Patty between the Pita and dip into the gravy... its delicious man... But the portion is really too small, and for the fact that this cost $12, it is pretty expensive...

Chicken Roll @ $6.50

Unlike some of the kebab rolls i have eaten before, the roll over here is very unique. i believed that the outer skin of the roll is handmade as it is paper-thin,crisp, has a very nice aroma... and the portion of chicken and veggies wrapped in the roll is quite generous... For just $6.50, its worth the money and your calories...

Maybe I will go back again just for the wraps!

EatAndTrain is One! Satu! Yi! Uno! Un! ein!

Today 2 July is EatAndTrain one year anniversary!

I was reading my first entry dated exactly a year ago, and I thought it was kind of hilarious. haha. How time flies... and I still remember I started blogging bcos it was during the holidays, and I wanted to kill some time... but now it became a hobby or maybe a habit...
I still remember when I just started out, my readership was very low... maybe 10 hits a day? But now over the months, readership has climbed to hundreds... and this is indeed very encouraging. :)

This is all thanks to my readers... Thank You!

FoodieGymmie loves Bagel, so here's a birthday bagel for EatandTrain!

In the meantime, Foodiegymmie will still live by his words

"Eating Good and Eating Responsibly"

and he will try and learnt to write better (cos i know i dun, lol), take nicer pictures, and most imptly, spread the importance of his motto! =)

Cheerz~ =)
