Gym was empty today...bcos everyone partied hard, ate lots yday, and im one of them! But! i still went to the gym despite i had only 4+ hours of slp, cos im like super motivated now! I have been running alot before i went KL, but now i have decided to reduce on my cardio, reason being:
I wan to gain more muscle mass but yet ripped .. but..this it is impossible to achieve both at the same time. If i run more to get more ribbed, i lose muscle mass at the same time, then i will become tiny. If i pump hard, eat a lot to fuel my energy requirement for muscle growth, inevitably, My tummy will grow too for sure! It is not possible to have the best of both worlds. So I decide to Gain muscle Mass now and cut away the fats later. If not I will forever stay the same size, I cannot grow any bigger! My training regime must change!
Went to the gym yday, whack my whole upper body.
Went again today and i did:
Pectorias : Flat Dumbell Presses - managed to hit my max record again - 27.5kg!
Biceps : Bicep Barbell Curl + Dumbell Curl + Machine
Triceps : Tricep Extension + Rope Pull down
Abs : Declined Sit ups + Cable Crunch
Obliques : Declined Oblique crunch
Hamstring : Hamstring Extenstion
Quadriceps: Barbell Squats - my legs is my worst - only 20kg per side, deproved a lot!
+ Leg Extension + Deadlifts
Calves : I did not do, bcos someone was hogging the smith machine!
Today was a great session: The deadlifts and Squats was awesome!

This are some of the local products i brought back to SG. Bought very few stuffs cos last day spent until left with only RM14! then just outside my guesthouse, i bought a asics socks... only RM10. then GG already....left with RM4. poor me.

Product of Penang - you get Tau Sar Pia - There are many varities and packaging la... but I think this should be the nicest one since everyone seem to be buying this!
Damage: 90Kcal per biscuit (very high for something so small)

Product of Ipoh - not Ipoh Horfun la! but Ipoh White Coffee - I heard its nice... hear only but never taste before... so bought only one packet to try... can safekeep them for exam period when I have to stay up for 7 * 7 = 49 hours...
Damage: 150Kcal per serving
Healthier alternative will be Kopi-O ~ 30Kcal
Product of M'sia - Apollo Chocolate waffle - My childhood snack! It has dissapeared entirely from SG! SG only got blueberry and strawberry but not this! I've been search the mountains and the sea but in vain back in sg. Went to KL, i search up and down also in vain until i came across a ulu ma ma shop! wooo! Why so diff to find this now! People now more affluent means cannot eat these kinda stuffs anymore meh! I still love it! one big packet like tt only SGD1!
Damage: 71Kcal per packet
Biscuit with pineapple jam! Found this in KL Chinatown! Lucky me! SG got sell too but its different! This one, the biscuit is sugar coated and just look at the amount of pineapple filling it contains! Its super nice! CH can vouched for me!
Damage: Unknown - just eat in moderation

Sotong Head! Dun be decieved by it! Itsa healthy snack! Fats is almost 0, High in protein due to the Sotong meat, but the downside is that the carbs ratio to protein is the same. But still... a good snack! One big packet like that only SGD9!

After relenishing our Energy, carried on shopping... and then we stop by at wafflestop for our some sinful indulgence... well... who can resist tt colorful decos and aroma of the waffle...

The Waffle is thicker than those in Gelare, and its only SGD5 bucks lor... ice cream was a generous big round scoop.
Eat liao.... shop... Shop liao... went chinatown to search for dinner... we came across a Claypot chicken rice shop but the Q was darn long... 1 hr waiting time! but it looks real nice... but but... we cant afford the time so we ended up at another stall with 0 waiting time...
Still cooked in the traditional way using Charcoal
Lots of Lad Chiong, Salted fish (but i din ate any, prob my fren ate one whole salted fish..ha)

The portion of beef was alot, still tender and the beef taste was strong. Rice was chewy but only ate a few bites... cut down on carbs. The amount of veggies they served scare the hell out of me... the veggies and meat was more than enough to fill my stomach.

KL Trip Day 1
ok! i am back from M'sia! Had enough of rafting, shopping and eating! i am totally satisfied now! :)
We reached KL at around 0500, and first pit stop was at a Bak Kut Teh Shop. My first time eating Bak Kut Teh for breakfast, and the Bak Kut Teh there taste slightly different from SG - sort of like a fusion of Kway Chap and Bak Kut Teh, cos of the strong taste of pig intestines in the soup. Usually i do not eat the offals bcos they contains a very high % of fats... but i was "forced" to eat 2 bcos of some forfeit... and the intestines there... stinks big time.
Bak Kut Teh in claypot, with lots of golden shrooms and cabbage
After BF, took another an hour plus ride to Sungei Selangor - our rafting site.
The rafting was simply great! i fell into the water once ( the record was 8 times... hehe), and some rafts even capsize entirely, heng my "Bak Kut Teh" group raft never capsize thruout the entire trip.
After 3 hours plus plus of rafting, we ended at a waterfall, where we had apples! Lunch was Nasi Lemak and bread. I ate the latter. Made my own Sandwich, with tuna and hard boiled eggs with cheese and lots of chili sauce! To add on to my protein intake, I ate another Fried Ayam breast!

*no pix for now*
Lunch was over and we took the van back to our guesthouse, and dinner awaits us! Dinner was a short walk away from our guesthouse, and dinner was Zi Char!
Hokkein Mee - black version
Fried Tofu - Thai Style
Fried Oyster Omellete
Sambal Stingray
chicken satay!
Lok Lok (Steamboat)
Don't be fooled by such a simple stall.. it's actually a one-of-a-kind stall where you can choose the meat and cook it urself. Dip them into a pot of hot boiling water OR deep fry them in oil~
Got Sotong, Tofu, Meatballs, octopus, cuttlefish, crab stick, hum, sausage, Tau Pok, Quail Eggs, etc etc etc la... and sauces come in 3 different types - Chili Sauce, Sweet and sour, Satay sauce.

Seldom can we find the black version in sg, but apparently, everyone eats the black version in KL, and i think everyone likes it... or maybe almost all!
The Sweet and Spicy sauce was good enough, and it has some slices of mangoes on it - kinda like mango salad but smaller portion only. Tofu is a good source of protein, but however it is deep fried, but one or two wont kill la... just exercise more when back to sg lor.
its more crispy and flaky as compared to those we normally eat. I will prefer if the oysters are bigger and more eggs! ha! but how much are we paying only...
Looks good, but i still think sillypore stingray is better la. The sambal is not as shiok as sg one... price wise is $10 for this... slightly cheaper than sg only.
