Berlin Day 2 - Rostbratwurst, Erdbeeren Crumble, Mo"venpick, Do"ner
Morning was a trip down to the Saturday Flea market. Good thing we spent our sat and sun in Berlin, so that we can have 2 whole weekends to go to the many different flea market.
I was one of the last to capture these "vandalisms" on the tower, the next day when i was back, there are all GONE!
Erdbeeren, which is raspberry, and so this is Strawberry crumble... Im talking about REAL strawberries in between the crumbs and the bread layer at the bottom
Next, a visit to the Reichstag (The equivalent of our government building)
Then followed by many visits to the museums...

A walk to Unter den Liden (under the lime tree)... There are make shift flea markets there too!
Hunger hits me when i smell sausages... Rostbratwurst! In my whole 6 days in Berlin, this is the best hotsog ive eaten, but too bad, it was only available just for that day... Crispy outside, juicy and so tasty inside!!!
Interesting concept... cycle and drink beer at the same time... Beer drinkers get to travel around central berlin in this "bike" as they drink and peddle... There's no law against
"Drink and Bike"
Waited an hr + for the crew of Transformers 2 to arrive at the Gala Premier at Sony Centre, but I was too tired from the wait and left early and head back to hotel...

From Paris to Berlin - Berlin Day 1 - Fruit Pastry, Currywurst and Fisch Burger
After spending 3 days in Paris, we flew to Berlin to test out my German... it works! lol. We will be in Berlin for the next 6 days, we intend to complete the whole of Berlin!
Currywurst! I heard a frantic ex-classmate of my german class who talks about how wonderful currywurst is! I must try!
Rostbratwurst sellers floods the street of Alexandreplatz... I eat these everyday! They simply rock! My gf just went Brotzeit after we can came back from Germany, and she still prefer this 1.20Euros Wurst compared to the atas one in Brotzeit. In my humble opinion, I think the quality of the dogs are not as good as brotzeit, but in terms of the way its done, its so much better!

Dinner was currywurst... It is a deepfried sausage topped with lotsa ketchup and curry powder... Lots of them in the next few days... *FAT*
The owner of this place where we had our dinner was a young chap. He is so friendly! He asked me if I know C-programming as he wants to make some MAPS for some online games. He showed what he was playing, and told me this is very popular in singapore as well... but i have to say that i dissppointed him! I am no gamer!

Paris Day 3 - Morning Run and beautiful flowers
Morning temperature is a nice 10 deg, ideal for a morning run and an exploration of my neighbourhood.

Chocolate fudge cake. This is not the best cake eaten... wait for my Paris Day 9 picture... that cake blew me away~
The long walk to Chateau de Versailles - The largest Palace in Europe, used to house the nobles during the French Monarchy. It it really the LARGEST!!! I walked from morning till late afternoon, and maybe explored like only 5% of the whole place???

Waited an hour to catch the train from station to Hotel... As our Hotel is near the Airport, those taking the same train as us were late for flight due to the delay. The climate was intense between the passengers and the staff. During the wait, we spoke to Jap/Hongkong/China tourist.
When the train finally arrived, we managed to squeeze into the train. The train was unimaginably packed. M air in my lungs was literally squashed out! The train doors could not close due to the crowd, as a results people near the door were pushed out by passengers in the train...and small fight broke out right before my eyes!
Gee... The french (not all, but those i witness that night) are damn violent and aggressive... not just this incident, but it seems like I witness a small/big fight almost everyday... they are also not as "high-class" as we thought, they don't shower much I guess, so the air in the train really stink of body odour.
I still like SMRT and Taipan train system and Berlin Bahn.
