For the same price or even lesser, you can get a bigger and nicer bowl of ramen from Noodle House Ken. The soup base is tooo salty for my liking, and the noodles are not as chewy as those that I had in NHK. The char siew is a shame (I thought). Tasteless as it is, combined with a salty soup base. Will I ever return!? YES! if there are no other existing food-lets in ION!
On a side-note, I truly love ION. Despite people saying tha the floor to ceiling height is low at the basement, but hello??? It's basement... and to get a higher ceiling height would be sacrifacing one whole basement. The tenant-mix for the retail as well as F&B is superb, the concierge staffs are always on their toes, looking so professional. Seriously, I don't see the point in walking to other parts of Orchard anymore, unless it's for food. Oh yes, and the toilets! the floors are so dry and clean, the air is fresh and nice, well-equipped with napkins and a hand dryer just infront of the basin so that water will not get splash around, and a vanity "mirror" just before you leave the washroom. :)

I thought it's called Menya Kaiko? I don't see any Hokkaido Express on the sign board...
menya kaiko? i tot its hokkaido express? i forgot what the name of the outlet, so i went to ion website to check again, and it shows that its hokkaido express, unless the webby is wrong!
Hokkaido express is the croquette counter next to Arinco King, not this ramen shop. Menya Kaiko is not listed (yet).
