Super Uber nice Muffins spotted!
Bliss Haven - World's 1st Fortune Muffin!wth is a fortune muffin? You know fortune cookies? Those cookies with a slip of paper in it with a msg that "tells" your fortune? Fortune muffins uses the same concept, just that the the paper is now in a muffin instead, or to be exact, its at the bottom of the muffin.
I don't think they need to employ such a marketing gimmik for their muffins are already good enough to attract the attention of muffin lovers. The vicinity of the shop smells of freshly baked muffins, anyone with a "working" nose will not be able to resist this temptation...
Each muffin cost $1.20, and buy 5 you will get one free. (That's y you see the free one in the picture kena squeezed until so poor ting, free ma)And they come in 6 Flavour - Cheese & Chicken Ham, Oreo Cookies, Raisin & Orange Peel, Banana & Walnuts, Chocolate and Blueberry.
Chocolate - The crust/top is really veryyy good. I wish there's more chocolatey rice in it as well as on it...
Banana & Walnuts - This is the best in my opinion. Generous slices of bananas and walnuts... and wach bite gives you some crunchiness and sweetness...
Oreo Cookies - See the hugh chuncky Oreos sticking out from the muffin! If you find it too little, you can always buy your own oreos, break it to pieces and stuffed it in. Overall: The muffins are nice and cheap and big!!! They have been featured in the Straitstimes before, but that doesn't matter, what matters is now that are featured by me! haha. Like what they say,

btw, i have tried muffins at this min confectionery at the ground level of sunshine plaza located at prinsep link.
the place is very near to the selegie rochor beancurd store.

the muffins are pricey but they are superb. they usually come warm and the interior is moist and fluffy. yummy

i love muffins then i saw the caloric and food contents then i went *Ahhhhhhhhh..* Now I avoid eating it unless someone shares it with me. But I will give the fortune muffins a try.

the mufin stall is located right next to the parklane wanton mee stall. fyi, the wanton mee tastes not bad.
i tried their banana walnut and it costs like $1.50. 2nd time i tried their choc chip muffin and it was like 2bucks or $2.50, cant rem. quite ex to me. the place is quite ulu somehow. but i believe the stall has its regular customers patronizing. on 2 occasions that i've been there, the muffins were almost all sold out and i had to settle with the last remaining one.

What a great morning snack and some interesting flavours too. Try not to read the nutritional info - it might put you off eating them.

wow, fortune muffin, good marketing tactic! indeed, its calories content puts me off, but i still eat them! haha just have to run harder and longer! lol
good marketing tactics ah? but i dun think i will buy just for the "surprised" factor leh... but having it is better than not having it...cos sometimes (actually most of the time in fact) you get free muffins!!!
