Indy lunch @ Sim Lim Food Court

Indian and Pakistani I though India and Pakistan are rivals... not my problem anw, just give me good food!

Wah... they got a big big ceramic furnace... im so attracted by that... I must order something freshly cooked and served out of tt!

Tada! Garlic Naan with Chicken Tandoori freshly made and serve out of the ceramic furnace... hot hot... anw chicken tandoori is one of the healthier choices one can get at a indian stall!

I am pretty surprise that at a food court in Sim Lim Square, i can actually find a decent/good indian food. Singaporeans usually use the length of the queue as a goodfoodmeter (how good a food is), but this is not always the case... like now.

But why is it that the price of Indian Food is always so steep! i heard from grandfather's stories of how they double-standard...shall not explain more. at least im satisfied with some spicy hot curry in my tummy. hehe

Hogs Breath Cafe - Vivocity

Dinner at Hogs breath with my army kakis... A place for pretty affordable but not fantastic food!

Yes... its our feeding time...

Grilled Chiken with Portobello shrooms - this is my order! Shrooms so juicy and shroomy, chicken tender and juicy... if only they have a upsize option so that i can upsize the puny chicken la... corn is very normal... astons have the best corn!

Tai's order... Steak with crinkled fries...

Batan's Order - Lamb Shank. Oh, 3/4 was left untouch bcos he finds it... hmm.. not too nice. i koped a bit from him, and what i can say is that... benny's lamb shank win this hands down in terms of flavor and taste, but benny's lamb shank is a tat too small, and therefore they can afford to be cheaper.

Ah Singh ordered this - bcos he had turned to a vegetarian for the love of animals for he is a animal activist now la... -_-

I wonder where he gets his protein from... carbs for dinner?!?!

Ah Singh's carbs part 2!!! so unhealthy... Corn chips with condiments

I always thought we humans live to eat meat since we are born with teeth that are designed to eat both meat ad veggies. if not our teeth will be designed to look perhaps like cow or horses. There is a reason for everything imo.

Another grilled chicken with mashed potatoes

Fish and chips - boring... lol.

a stroll in the "park"

After my exams, its time to shed those inches which i have gained for the past few weeks! as compared to my previous taiwan trip, this is nothing la. but nevertheless im trying hard to get back to my previous fitness level... after my gym workout, took a gruesome one hour walk on the threadmill set at 10degrees and speed 6 to maintain a low heart rate of about 125bpm. burned a total of 656 calories, of which about 60% is from fats... yay! haha

Breadtalk Christmas Special

Breadtalk came up with a series of new bread for this coming xmas! and their price is tagged high high... but is it really worth for these pretty looking bread... you can only judge from their appearance, but whats inside you have no freaking idea yet you risked forking out paying close to 2 bucks for each! So let FDGM tells you whats good and whats not.

This is a combination of bread and chocolate sponge cake whereby the cake is enveloped within the bread layer. The chocolate sponge cake tastenot too bad, and the top layer of white and milk chocolate adds some flavout to the if not bland tasting bread. But overall, i do like it.

A spiraling bread with custard inside it and coated with a chocolate layer. I dunno what is this supposed to symbolise for xmas, but dun you think with that flower/leaf sticking on top, it looks like: 上. And I like this too.

This xmas log taste just like a log. It is hard, bcos it is baguette that is toasted and sprinkle with some icing and coating with some chocolate at the base. The interior is nothing, just plain. At at price tag of $1.80, it is really not worth! you can just get a long baguette with that amount.

This is the best, but also the worst taken photo. lol. It resembles a xmas tree, with bread enveloping custard, and the bread is decorated generously with nuts, seeds and dried fruits. It is sort of like xmas fruit cake but on a bread instead. Buy this!!!

Sunday Lunch - Macaroonssss make me loon loon looney

My previous buys from Amande - Strawberry, Orange, Chocolate, Almond, Kiwi

I went there again for some cheap macaroons at only $1.20 each... cheaper relative to other macaroons la... dun compare to ice kacang or what k. this time round they have many many new flavours... but impossilbe for me to try all cos there are simply too many! I got myself Passionfruit, Chocolate Mint, Blueberry, Hazelnut and Cheese! Personal favorit is Hazelnut and chocolate Mint.

Geez, went to the gym today for only 30min =\

But these macaroons are really nice, but but i am also getting kinda sick of them at the same time. maybe i should try the Othellos and Batons from them in the future!
